Hate your double chin? CoolSculpting recently launched a new applicator, called the coolmini, that can kill the fat cells in the chin/neck region, without surgery or downtime. The double chin is a particularly stubborn pocket of fat that is often inherited and cannot be modified with diet or exercise. Until now, the only way to eliminate it was through surgery or liposuction. The coolmini is a breakthrough in facial contouring and we are pleased to offer this treatment to our patients. The relationship between acne and diet has been a long debated one. More recently, we have unveiled some new evidence that shows direct links between what we eat and how our skin looks. Specifically, milk and processed carbohydrates, which have a high glycemic index and cause spikes in insulin, have been associated with worse acne.
